i've been thinking a lot lately.
i really have nowhere else to write this shit down so i chose livejournal.
but i feel like i've had an epiphany or something.

i don't know.
i'm usually that person who has made a big deal out of basically everything.
but i prided myself on how i lived in the moment. but i realized i don't.
i always thought. what do i have to do tomorrow.
in a relationship. i always thought where was it going. how logn would it last. and what would we do when we had to breakup?
and like. what would i do with my future. my job. whatever

and i realized. like.
who cares. really.
who cares what im doing tomorrow. im so busy worrying about whats next that i never care about whats going on right now.
and who cares about a boyfriend. i'm not going to marry him. he's not goign to be perfect. and i'm not going to be perfect either. and nobody expects that so why am i worrying about it?
we all have needs. and we just find someone to temporarily meet them until we find someone to do that for us forever. hence the reason we marry them. who cares about differences. and disagreements.
people work them out. it makes for great debate. conversation. learning.

and who cares where i get my stuff? what i wear. what i do to my hair. what i do to my body. how many piercings or tattoos i have. as long as i love it isnt that what matters?

who cares if someone doesnt like me. its their fault that they'll never get the chance to expperience how cool i am. hahah.
i dont need to burden myself trying to please them.
i'll leave out my dishes if i want. i'll eat what i want when i want. i'll smoke if i want to. and i don't care.

and as far as my major? and my job?
there are so many odd jobs out there and nobody gets them by planning it and going to it. most of those peopel get them hrough experience and they find that thats what works for them.
who is to say that it wont happen to me?
my advisor told me she majored in spanish literature in college.
and she doesnt use it at all in her job now.
so as long as im educated. experienced. qualified. theres no reason why i shouldnt get a job that i want. regardless of what major i have.

so from now on. i guess i dont care anymore.
i'm on my own. i do what i want.
i dont need to worry about who i lose my virginity with anymore.
if it happens it happens.
im not going to care about what that guy thought of me when we kissed. he kissed me back. so he was obviously attracted in the first place.

i guess i'm just growing up.
that's all.

i like this feeling.
